AFX, Association of Special Effects Makeup Special Weapons and was created in November 2004 with the need to regulate and provide the film industry and audiovisual serious and professional reference in the field of special effects and weapons.

For this reason we have joined the most representative companies and Weapons Effects requiring us, as partners, a series of mandatory requirements to be part of AFX:

• Liability Insurance, by company, of a given level.
• License to possess explosives, and pyrotechnics.
• Security measures for storage, transport and use of explosives.
• License to possess regular user of explosives and fireworks nationwide.
• Owning risk prevention plan own work.

These requirements have called and ask for legal and administrative efforts, so that members of AFX constitute a group of safe and effective.

AFX represents employers in the sector to the corresponding authorities, cooperating with them in the establishment of an industry self-regulation.

AFX promotes the quality of services, promoting training of professionals in the field of their activities.
